After 22 long hours of labor, including 2 hours of pushing out this big boy, James Davis McRae entered the world on Father's Day, June 21st at 8:27 am. He weighed 9 lbs. 1 oz. and is 20 3/4 inches long. I got my wish and went into labor on my own on Saturday. James is a family name on Jay's side and obviously Jay's name and Davis is from my side. It was Melanie's middle name as well as my dads and grandfathers. We are going to call him James. This first week has flown by, but we are loving every second of it!

He's so adorable! We are so happy for you and Jay and know you'll be wonderful parents. I'm so happy I was able to see him before we left. I can't wait to hear and read about all the updates.
